Why We’re Building This

Planning a trip should be exciting, not exhausting.

But somewhere along the way, it became a part-time job. You open 20 browser tabs. You cross-reference hotel reviews. You build spreadsheets to track costs. You read the same “Top 10 Things to Do” listicle on five different sites. And after hours of research, you’re still not sure if you’re getting a good deal.

We think that’s broken.

Autopilot Vacay started with a simple question: What if AI could do the research for you?

Not just spit out generic recommendations, but actually understand your budget, your travel style, and what makes a trip feel like yours. Then build a complete, day-by-day itinerary with real places, honest cost estimates, and the kind of local tips you’d get from a well-traveled friend.

What We Believe

Budget comes first. Most travel sites show you aspirational stuff you can’t afford, then hit you with hidden fees at checkout. We flip that. Tell us what you want to spend, and we’ll build the best trip within that number. No bait-and-switch.

Personalization matters. Cookie-cutter packages are lazy. Whether you’re a solo backpacker or a family of four, vegan or foodie, adventure-seeker or beach-lounger, your itinerary should reflect you.

Honesty over hype. We don’t take affiliate commissions that bias our recommendations. When we suggest a hotel or restaurant, it’s because we think it’s genuinely good for your trip, not because someone paid us.

Where We Are Now

We’re in early access. The AI trip planner is actively being built, and we’re working with early members to refine it.

In the meantime, we’ve published 700+ destination guides covering the U.S. and Canada, complete with weather data, sample itineraries, budget breakdowns, and local tips. They’re designed to help you plan smarter, even before the full product launches.
